Susan Scott "Scottie" Thompson, a talented American film, television, and stage actress, was born on November 9, 1981, standing at a height of 5' 7" (1,70 m). Her early life was shaped by her passion for the performing arts, as she grew up in Richmond, Virginia, where she attended Collegiate School.
Thompson's dance training began at a young age, and she went on to study ballet, jazz, and modern dance. She spent many years dancing with the renowned Richmond Ballet, taking a year-long hiatus after graduating to dance with the company, and later pursuing a degree in Performance Studies and Literature at Harvard University.
During her time at Harvard, Thompson continued to nurture her love for dance by dancing with the Harvard Ballet Company and acting in numerous theater productions.
