Scott Takeda, a Colorado native, began his television career in 1990 as a TV news reporter in Pocatello, Idaho, for KIDK. His career trajectory took him to newsrooms in Ohio, where he worked for WTOL, Denver, where he was a part of the KCNC team, and finally Philadelphia, where he served as a producer-photojournalist for WPHL.
During his tenure as a TV journalist, Takeda earned regional Emmy awards and claimed the title of "Photographer of the Year" not once, but twice.

Through his production company, Takeda has garnered over thirty national Telly Awards and the prestigious international Gold WorldMedal from the New York Festivals.
Takeda made his national acting debut in 2001, playing the role of Sgt. Tai Lee in the Animal Planet series "Busted."
Currently, he splits his time between acting in front of the camera and producing-writing behind the scenes, all while residing in Colorado.
