Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Saffari's life and artistic journey were significantly influenced by his grandmother, Edith Conklin Weaver, a talented painter, poet, and art enthusiast.
Saffari's college years were spent at MiraCosta College Theatre in San Diego, California, where he refined his craft and showcased his talents in over thirty productions, both professionally and at his alma mater.
His academic achievements were recognized with scholarships and awards through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, which also provided him with opportunities to study at Steppenwolf West under the guidance of renowned artists such as Laurie Metcalf, Jeff Perry, French Stewart, David Razowsky, Kim Rubinstein, Alexandra Billings, and many others.
As a distinguished guest artist and award winner, Saffari was invited to The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft.
