Sangeeth Sivan is a multifaceted and accomplished figure in the Indian film industry, with a dual expertise in directing and writing for both Bollywood and Malayalam cinema.
As the sibling of renowned cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan, Sangeeth's foray into the world of filmmaking was almost inevitable. He began his career in the industry by directing Malayalam films, eventually accumulating a portfolio of over a dozen such projects.
Subsequently, Sangeeth made the transition to Bollywood, helming his first Hindi film, Zor, which starred the stalwart Sunny Deol. Although the movie did not quite resonate with audiences, Sangeeth's directorial prowess was widely recognized and appreciated by many producers in the industry.
Following a brief hiatus, Sangeeth resumed his directorial endeavors with Jackie Shroff's film, Sandhya, which was subsequently followed by the production, Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne, in collaboration with Pantaloon.
