Percy Romeo Miller, also known as Romeo or formerly Lil' Romeo, is an American rapper, actor, and television personality born on August 19, 1989. He gained fame in the early 2000s after signing with No Limit Records, owned by his father Master P.
Miller released his debut single "My Baby" in 2001, which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Later that year, he released his debut album Lil' Romeo, which charted at number six on the US Billboard 200, selling 99,000 copies in its first week and going on to be certified Gold.
Miller began his acting career with a cameo appearance in the Walt Disney Pictures film Max Keeble's Big Move in 2001. In 2002, Nickelodeon offered him his own show, Romeo!, which ran for three seasons. He co-starred with Jessica Alba, Mekhi Phifer, and Zachary Isaiah Williams in the dance film Honey in 2003.
In addition to his music and acting career, Miller has also had roles in several films, including God's Gift in 2006, Uncle P in 2007, and ASL in 2007. He has also made cameo appearances in other films and TV shows, such as Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.
Miller was offered a scholarship to play basketball for the USC Trojans at the University of Southern California in 2007, but was let go before his junior season in 2010. He launched his own clothing line, College Boyys, in 2010 and has since worked on several other projects, including TV commercials and feature films.
In 2010, Miller guest-starred as a rapper accused of murder in the CBS series The Defenders. He has also appeared in TV commercials for McDonald's and ICDC College, and has starred in feature films such as Jumping the Broom in 2011 and Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection in 2012.
Miller has continued to work in the entertainment industry, appearing in films and TV shows such as Never Heard in 2017 and Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story in 2022. He has also founded several record labels, including Guttar Music, Take a Stand, The Next Generation, and No Limit Forever Records.
