Rodney El Haddad made his film debut in "Bosta l'autobus" (2005) after a rich career in theater as an actor, playwright, and director. A graduate of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the Lebanese University in 2000, he played in several plays, including "Charbel" by Raymond Gébara.
His performance in the short film "Une musique sur la lune" earned him the Qamar d'Or for Best Male Interpretation in 2000. He has written several screenplays as well as two plays that he also directed. He has just completed his first collection of poems.
Of Lebanese origin, Rodney El-Haddad is an actor and screenwriter for theater and film. He first exercised his writing talents as a co-screenwriter on "Caramel" (2007),directed by Nadine Labaki. He then began acting in feature films such as "Bosta l'autobus" (2005) and "Beyrouth, ville ouverte".
Currently, Rodney is participating in the writing of a new feature film with Nadine Labaki, and will appear in the cast of Danielle Arbid's next film, "Chambres d'hôtel".
