Rodney L. Demery is a renowned American figure, having led a multifaceted career as a homicide detective, TV host, and author. For 14 illustrious years, he served as a detective in the violent crimes unit of the Shreveport Police Department, boasting an unprecedented 100% confession and solve rate as lead investigator. His extensive law enforcement experience encompasses a wide range of investigations, including sex crimes, burglary and armed robbery, and narcotics.
Beyond his detective work, Demery is also recognized for his role as TV host and narrator on the true crime series Murder Chose Me. Furthermore, he is a certified and experienced hostage negotiator, S.W.A.T. certified, and has conducted extensive undercover work throughout his career.
