As a director and producer, Ernst garnered significant recognition in 2015 with an Emmy Award nomination for his work on the web series This Is Me.
Ernst's impressive portfolio also includes the creation of the acclaimed trans history web series We've Been Around, as well as his role as a producer and director on Amazon's groundbreaking series Transparent. Furthermore, he is responsible for designing the show's title sequence.
