Rekha Shanti Sharma is a renowned Canadian actress, widely recognized for her captivating portrayal of Tory Foster on the esteemed science fiction television series, Battlestar Galactica.
Hailing from a rich cultural heritage, Sharma's ancestors originally resided in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, but they emigrated during the British colonial era. Her family subsequently relocated to the Fiji Islands, and her parents ultimately settled in Canada. She has an elder brother, Sunil, who is nine years her senior. Their father is a devout Hindu priest.
Sharma embarked on her acting journey in her 20s, having initially gained stage experience.
