Rein Oja, a renowned Estonian actor, film director, and theatre leader, entered the world on February 26, 1956, in the vibrant city of Tallinn. As the older sibling of acclaimed actor Tõnu Oja, Rein's artistic inclinations were undoubtedly nurtured from a young age.
Upon completing his studies at the prestigious Tallinn State Conservatory in 1978, Rein embarked on a fruitful career spanning nearly two decades, from 1978 to 1997, at the esteemed Noorsooteater/Tallinn City Theatre.
