Rae embarked on her acting journey at the tender age of four, inspired by her brother Zach Gray's footsteps. She honed her craft by participating in various theatre productions in Chicago, performing at esteemed institutions such as Steppenwolf, Goodman, Lookingglass, Victory Gardens, and Writers.
Currently, Rae divides her time between Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, pursuing a multifaceted career in theatre, television, and film. Her impressive resume boasts notable roles such as Gretchen Trimbol in season three of Fear the Walking Dead and Sadie Sheridan in the critically acclaimed film Slice, produced by A24.
In June, Rae secured a coveted role as a series regular in the Amazon pilot Sea Oak, penned by celebrated author George Saunders. Beyond her acting pursuits, Rae is a multifaceted individual with a passion for reading, writing, editing, playing and watching baseball and softball, singing, playing the guitar, and indulging in delectable cuisine.
A die-hard fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawks, Rae relishes attending and watching games. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago, which she earned in December 2014.
