Throughout his illustrious career, Wintonick evolved into a highly respected director-writer-producer, as well as a mentor to numerous young filmmakers. His passion for documentary filmmaking led him to become a globe-trotting advocate and ambassador for socio-political documentaries.
Wintonick's impressive body of work comprises more than 100 films and media projects. However, he is perhaps most renowned for his seminal documentary, Manufacturing Consent: Noam Chomsky and the Media, which was released in 1992.
