Peter Senerchia, also known by his professional wrestling ring name Taz, is a multifaceted American entertainment personality, exceling as a radio host, color commentator, and retired professional wrestler. Currently, he is affiliated with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a commentator and manager.
In his illustrious career, Senerchia made a significant impact in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW),earning the distinction of being a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, a two-time World Television Champion, a three-time World Tag Team Champion, a two-time (and inaugural) FTW Heavyweight Champion, and the fourth ECW Triple Crown Champion.
Senerchia's in-ring performance in the WWE came to an abrupt halt in 2002, prompting his transition to a color-commentary role, which he continued to excel in until his contract with WWE expired in April 2009. Just two months later, he made his debut in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling at their Victory Road pay-per-view event, once again adopting his Taz ring name, and later reclaimed his position as a color commentator for TNA's broadcasts, replacing Don West.
