Peter Iasillo Jr., the singular offspring of Port Chester's esteemed mayor, Peter Iasillo Sr., embarked on a career as an actor, leaving an indelible mark on the horror film and television genres. His appearances on various TV shows and numerous horror films showcased his versatility and talent. In addition, he made memorable appearances on USA Up All Night and took on the iconic role of horror host Dead Edgar on Westchester Cable Access Television. Furthermore, Iasillo was a driving force behind the Westchester Group Theatre, serving as its artistic director, and was instrumental in establishing the Black American Drama Group, a pioneering African-American theater ensemble. This talented thespian also lent his skills to several community theater productions. In his personal life, Iasillo was the loving father of two daughters, Amanda and Rebecca, whom he shared with his partner, Robin Souter. Tragically, Iasillo succumbed to cancer on February 21, 2017, at the age of 63, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire and entertain.
