Patson Sarindu, a Thai-American actor, model, presenter, and entrepreneur, has had a multifaceted career spanning over two decades.
Growing up, Pat was an athletic individual, participating in various sports such as skiing, baseball, and American football, which he began playing at the tender age of eight. His passion for American football remained strong, and he continued to play throughout his youth.
As a teenager, Pat worked part-time jobs to earn extra income. At 15, he took up a position at a pizza shop, and later, at 20, he worked at a law office in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1994, while living in Thailand, Pat began his career in the entertainment industry as a model, working with various fashion labels. This marked the beginning of his journey as an entertainer. Besides modeling, he also worked in advertising agencies and appeared in a music video by Mickey.
Pat's breakthrough in acting came when he was cast in the 1994 American film "The War," starring Kevin Costner and Elijah Wood. Although his role was minor, it provided him with valuable experience and led to his debut in Thai lakorns.
After acting for over a decade, Pat decided to retire from the industry. In 2014, he revealed that one of the primary reasons for his decision was the language barrier. As a westernized individual who spoke more English than Thai and grew up abroad, he struggled to make a name for himself in the industry.
Pat also cited the instability of acting as a career, stating that it was difficult to receive consistent work. He recalled that once a lakorn was completed, actors would have to wait for an extended period to be contacted for another project.
To secure his future and avoid the risk of his career dwindling, Pat decided to transition into entrepreneurship. However, he returned to acting in 2015 with the third season of the popular series "Hormones."
