Natassia Malthe, the younger of two daughters, was born in Norway, boasting a unique cultural heritage as she is half Filipino. While typically credited by her birth name, she is occasionally recognized as 'Lina Teal'.
Malthe's early life was marked by a passion for the performing arts, with her training commencing at renowned dance schools in Canada, Scotland, and Norway. She honed her skills at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Goh Ballet Academy, and the Norwegian Opera House, where she simultaneously pursued her interests in singing and dancing while completing her high school education.
As she matured, Malthe relocated to London, England to further her studies in musical theater. Her academic pursuits eventually led her to Canada, where she secured her first television role.
In 2009, Malthe gained recognition for her portrayal of an elf bounty-hunter and sorcerer-in-training in the Sci Fi Channel miniseries Knights of Bloodsteel. In addition to her acting endeavors, she has also ventured into fashion modeling, earning a spot among the esteemed Girls of Maxim and Toro Women.
