Biography

Natalie Lymor Shlesinger, a talented individual, was born in Brooklyn, New York, to a father of Israeli descent and a mother of Egyptian and French heritage. This unique cultural blend played a significant role in shaping her early life, as she was exposed to multiple languages and dialects from a young age.

At home, Natalie was immersed in the Hebrew language, which was spoken by her family. However, when she ventured out into the streets, she was surrounded by a different linguistic landscape, where slang and colloquialisms were the norm. Meanwhile, in school, she was instructed in the English language, which further enriched her linguistic repertoire.

Tragedy struck when Natalie was just eleven years old, and she lost her father. As the middle child of three, she was forced to assume adult responsibilities, juggling schoolwork with the demands of family life. This challenging period in her life had a profound impact on her, teaching her valuable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of pursuing her passions.

Despite the obstacles she faced, Natalie yearned for a creative outlet, a desire that was initially thwarted by the lack of time and financial resources. However, fate intervened when she landed her first film credit on the set of Director Todd Solondz's project. This unexpected opportunity led to a significant upgrade in her role, and she was subsequently welcomed into the Screen Actors Guild.

Emboldened by this experience, Natalie made the bold decision to relocate to Hollywood, where she quickly secured her first acting job just one week after arriving in the city. This rapid success was a testament to her dedication and perseverance.

To further hone her craft, Natalie sought the guidance of renowned acting coach Ivana Chubbuck, whose master class had a profound impact on her acting abilities. The lessons she learned from Chubbuck have enabled Natalie to delve deeper into her characters, bringing a newfound level of depth and nuance to her performances.
