Ignacio Vigalondo Palacios, better known as Nacho Vigalondo, is a Spanish filmmaker born on 6 April 1977. His filmmaking journey began with the 2003 short film 7:35 in the Morning, an eight-minute Spanish-language film about a suicide bomber who terrorizes a cafe. This groundbreaking film received significant accolades, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Short Film, a Best Short Film Award nomination at the European Film Awards, and several other prestigious awards.
After gaining recognition for his short film, Vigalondo went on to create his first full-length feature film, Los Cronocrímenes, in 2007.
