Minami Shinoda's journey into the world of entertainment began with a passion for dance, with the ultimate goal of becoming a musical actress. However, she soon realized that her physical limitations, specifically her height of 147 cm, were restricting her opportunities in this field.
Undeterred, Shinoda made the conscious decision to shift her focus to voice acting, recognizing that this profession would not be bound by her physical appearance. This strategic move would ultimately open up new avenues for her career.
Before embarking on her voice acting journey, Shinoda honed her skills at the esteemed Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyuujo training academy during her high school years. Her talents did not go unnoticed, as she was selected to host the popular radio program AniLove! Gacha Gacha alongside Nanaka Suwa and Risa Kuriyama.
Upon the conclusion of the radio program, Shinoda joined the reputable VIMS talent management agency in the spring of 2013. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in her career.
Minami Shinoda made her seiyuu debut in February 2014, taking on the lead role of Haru Kasukabe in the highly successful mobile game Tokyo 7th Sisters. Her anime debut soon followed in April of the same year, as she lent her voice to an unnamed character in the heartwarming series Isshuukan Friends.
From that point forward, Shinoda's talent and dedication continued to flourish, solidifying her position as a prominent figure in the voice acting world.
