Michael John "Mike" Lockwood, better known by his ring name Crash Holly or simply Crash, was a renowned American professional wrestler who made a lasting impact in the WWE. Prior to joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1999, Lockwood wrestled on the independent circuit and briefly for Extreme Championship Wrestling.
As Crash Holly, he debuted as the storyline cousin of Hardcore Holly, and it was in the WWE's Hardcore Division where he found his greatest success. Lockwood's impressive skills and ability to escape tricky situations earned him the nickname "The Houdini of Hardcore," as he won the WWE Hardcore Championship a record 22 times.
Tragedy struck in June 2003 when Lockwood was released from WWE, but he quickly rebounded by joining Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as Mad Mikey, a character known for his perpetually angry demeanor. Although his time with TNA was short-lived, lasting only four months, Lockwood's legacy as a WWE Hardcore Champion, WWE European Champion, WWE Light Heavyweight Champion, and WWE World Tag Team Champion with Hardcore Holly as part of The Holly Cousins continues to be celebrated by fans of professional wrestling.
