Melançon's career in the entertainment industry began in 2003, when she transitioned from a successful modeling career with Wilhelmina Modeling Agency to acting. She has since appeared in numerous feature films, television shows, and commercials, showcasing her versatility as a performer.
Some of her notable roles include Masako Yamashiro in season 2 of "Legends of Tomorrow," Jamie Chen in the final season of "The L Word," Psylocke in "X-Men: The Last Stand," Miyu in "Shrink," Lynda in "Irreversi," Dr. Catherine Ivy in "Pathology," and the other "Girl in the Car" alongside Maggie Q in "Rush Hour 2."
