Marc Musso was born in Rockwall, Texas, and his early life was marked by a significant event that would set him on the path to a successful career in the entertainment industry. When he was just five years old, he was flown to Los Angeles to be considered for the prestigious role of Welch's Juice Spokesperson. He was one of only nine children being considered for the part, and although he did not ultimately secure the role, the experience was invaluable in jumpstarting his young career.
Throughout his childhood, Marc continued to work in the entertainment industry, appearing in numerous commercials, a TV pilot, and a short film. His breakthrough came in September 2002, when New Line Cinema cast him in the lead role of Robert Duvall and Michael Caine's nephews in the critically acclaimed film Secondhand Lions, released in 2003. The film was a major success, earning an Oscar nomination in 2003, and Marc's performance was widely praised.
Just two weeks after completing work on Secondhand Lions, Marc was cast in the highly acclaimed film 21 Grams, starring Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Naomi Watts. In this film, he played the role of Benicio Del Toro's son, Freddy, further solidifying his position as a talented young actor.
