Luca Damiano, born Franco Lo Cascio on August 29, 1946, is a renowned Italian film director with a multifaceted career spanning over five decades.

Born in Rome, Lo Cascio began his journey in the film industry as the trusted assistant director of the illustrious Fernando Di Leo, collaborating with him on nearly all his films between 1967 and 1974.

In 1974, Lo Cascio made his directorial debut with the parody film 'Piedino il questurino', starring the talented Franco Franchi. Following this successful venture, he went on to direct a string of comedies and the supernatural thriller 'Un urlo dalle tenebre' in 1976.

However, Lo Cascio subsequently withdrew from directing to focus on his distribution company, 'Patrizia Cinematografica', which he co-founded with Diego Spadaro. This marked a significant shift in his career, allowing him to explore new avenues and challenges.

In 1984, Lo Cascio adopted his stage name Luca Damiano and ventured into the realm of adult entertainment, directing and producing numerous pornographic films that garnered significant attention and acclaim.
