With his charismatic personality and electrifying fighting style, Liu became almost certainly China's most recognized and celebrated combat athlete. His impressive record and accolades made him a household name in China and beyond, captivating the hearts of fans worldwide.
However, his illustrious career was temporarily halted in 2005 due to an injury, leading to his retirement from the sport.
