Linda Mendoza is a highly accomplished and renowned American film and television director, whose illustrious career in the industry spans over several decades.
Mendoza's directorial journey began in 1992, when she started directing promotional segments for two prominent television networks, Fox and MTV. This marked the beginning of her successful career in television direction, which would eventually lead her to work on various notable projects.
One of her early notable projects was directing sketches for the popular Nickelodeon sketch comedy series, Roundhouse and All That. Her impressive work on these shows paved the way for her to work on other successful television series, including The Chris Rock Show, The Brothers García, Unfabulous, Girlfriends, The Bernie Mac Show, MADtv, Scrubs, and Gilmore Girls, to name a few.
In addition to her television work, Mendoza also made her feature film directorial debut with the film Chasing Papi in 2003. Her impressive work in both television and film has earned her numerous accolades, including an ALMA Award in 2008 for her direction of the Ugly Betty episode, "Betty's Baby Bump".
