Leslie McRay, also known as Leslie McRae, is a multifaceted individual, born in either 1946 or 1947, who has transitioned from a successful acting career to a life of writing, producing, and authorship.
Her early life was marked by a stint as a beauty pageant contestant, where she was crowned Miss Hawaii USA in 1968 and went on to become a runner-up in the Miss World USA competition of the same year.
Leslie's acting career was marked by a prolific output, with appearances in a total of 28 projects spanning the late 1960s to the mid-1970s. Her filmography includes notable titles such as the cult classic "Death Race 2000" (1975),which starred Sylvester Stallone, David Carradine, and Martin Kove, as well as the Pam Grier-starring Blaxploitation film "Coffy" (1973) and the 1968 film "Girl in the Golden Boots".
After retiring from acting, Leslie returned to the industry in 1997, this time as a writer and producer, working on independent projects and documentaries.
