Ian Fraser Kilmister, professionally known as Lemmy Kilmister or simply Lemmy, was a renowned English musician who left an indelible mark on the world of rock music. As the founder, lead singer, bassist, and primary songwriter of the iconic rock band Motörhead, he was the only constant member of the group, and his influence on the band's sound and style cannot be overstated. Prior to his tenure with Motörhead, Lemmy was a member of the influential space rock band Hawkwind from 1971 to 1975.
In addition to his remarkable music career, Lemmy also made appearances in various film and television productions, showcasing his versatility as an artist. He appeared in the 1990 science fiction film Hardware, as well as the 1987 comedy Eat the Rich, for which Motörhead recorded the soundtrack, including the title song. His notable film credits also include the 1994 comedy Airheads, in which he was credited as "Lemmy von Motörhead," and several movies from Troma Entertainment, such as the narrator in 1996's Tromeo and Juliet and as himself in both Terror Firmer and Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV.
Lemmy's final acting role was a memorable one, as he portrayed the President of the United States in the 2013 film Return to Nuke 'Em High.
