Laura Bayonas embarked on her cinematic journey at the tender age of four, and by the time she was seven, she had already landed her first leading role in the short film "Correo de guerra" (1972) alongside her mother, Lola Salvador, a renowned scriptwriter and film producer. This marked the beginning of a long and illustrious career in Europe, where she would go on to secure leading roles in films and television productions under the guidance of esteemed Spanish directors such as Jose Luis Bunuel, Jaime Chavarri, Julio Medem, Alfonso Ungria, Fernando Fernan Gomez, Jose Luis Cuerda, Manolo Matji, and Jose Luis Berlanga, among others.
In addition to her work in front of the camera, Laura Bayonas has also established herself as a talented writer, penning the novel "Yes Father, no Father", a scathing critique of parental education that became a bestseller in the 1990s. Her writing talents were further recognized with an award for her first screenplay, "Panfilas", bestowed upon her by the ICAA, Ministerio De Cultura of Spain.
Following her relocation to Los Angeles, California, Bayonas has continued to make a name for herself in the Hollywood scene, with her most recent credits including the 2011 film "CharlottaTS", directed by Lewis Teague.
