Katie Rotolo, a native of sunny south Florida, embarked on her performing journey at the tender age of three. As she grew older, her passion for the craft only intensified, leading her to pursue a professional acting career in short films and commercials in Miami at the age of 18.
Her early experiences in the industry, including working as a stand-in on the popular TV series Burn Notice, served as a springboard for her subsequent roles as a production assistant, producer, and assistant director. In 2009, she made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, where she continued to hone her skills and expand her repertoire.
Four years later, Katie returned to her hometown of Miami to produce her first feature film, marking a significant milestone in her career. With over 14 years of experience in the entertainment industry, she has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of companies, including Disney, 20th Century Fox, Maker Studios, Refinery29, and Fullscreen.
In addition to her impressive list of credits, Katie is also the founder of her own boutique production company, Paper Ball Pictures. Currently residing in Los Angeles, she is available for travel and is always eager to bring her unique perspective and sense of humor to any project.
Growing up, Katie was heavily influenced by the comedic genius of Robin Williams, who was a frequent guest in her home. As an adult, she has had the pleasure of working with and befriending comedians such as Pete Holmes and Maria Bamford, with whom she collaborated behind-the-scenes on the critically acclaimed series Lady Dynamite.
Katie is also deeply committed to using her platform to bring attention to under-represented topics and spark important conversations about social and ethical issues. Her holistic approach to life, love of eco-friendly living, and passion for tacos are just a few of the things she brings to every set she's on.
