John Raley's life journey began in Oklahoma, where he spent his formative years before pursuing his passion for football as a player for the esteemed Oklahoma Sooners under the guidance of the illustrious Coach Barry Switzer. His academic pursuits led him to obtain a law degree from the University of Oklahoma, a prestigious institution that has a rich tradition of producing outstanding legal minds.
John's academic endeavors did not stop there, as he went on to further his education by earning a Master of Laws degree from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, a renowned institution that has a long history of academic excellence.
As a civil trial lawyer and mediator, John has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, inventors, doctors, hospitals, teachers, television and film stars, and the celebrated poet and author Maya Angelou.
In addition to his legal career, John has also had a successful career in the performing arts, having performed on stage with several Houston theatre companies. In 2023, his stage credits included notable roles in August Osage County, where he played the character of Beverly, and Witness for the Prosecution, in which he portrayed the iconic character of Sir Wilfrid Robarts.
John has been married to his loving partner since 1984 and is the proud father of three children. He is also a grandfather, a title that brings him immense joy and fulfillment.
