Joaquim Dos Santos is a renowned Portuguese-American television director, celebrated for his outstanding work in the realm of animated cartoons. His impressive portfolio boasts direction credits on prominent shows such as Justice League Unlimited, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and The Legend of Korra.
Initially, Dos Santos served as a storyboard artist for Justice League, before being elevated to the role of director in the show's renamed third season. He went on to co-direct half of the episodes of Justice League Unlimited alongside fellow DCAU director Dan Riba, including the highly acclaimed final episode "Destroyer".
Dos Santos joined the creative team of Avatar: The Last Airbender during the middle of the show's second season, initially as a storyboard artist. As the series progressed, he began directing episodes, with his notable work including the concluding parts of the four-part season finale.
