Noted Italian-American actor, a late-blooming talent who has followed in the footsteps of renowned actors such as Chazz Palminteri and James Gandolfini, by transitioning from the nightclub industry to the big screen.
Born and raised in the vibrant Buffalo bar and restaurant business, JJ's entrepreneurial spirit was evident from a young age. After completing his education, JJ's first venture was 3C Multimedia, where he played a pivotal role in producing the television pilot "Discs" alongside renowned screenwriter Norman Toy, who is best known for his work on the popular TV series "MacGyver". Additionally, JJ produced early music videos for notable artists such as Dipset, Purple City Bird Gang, and Conway & Westside Gun.
JJ's passion for the entertainment industry soon led him to found the iconic Gypsy Parlor and Duke's Bohemian Grove Bar, affectionately known as DBGB. With his experience as a music promoter, JJ was able to bring together dozens of national and Grammy-nominated acts to perform at his establishments. Some of the notable artists who have performed at JJ's venues include Rob Base, Afrika Bambaataa, Pharoahe Monch, Snarky Puppy, Soullive, Disco Biscuits side project Dr. Famous, Moe side project Floodwood, Devon Allman, Rob Wasserman of the Grateful Dead, Academy Award performer Stephane Wrembel, Keller Williams, and many more.
