Jeff Jensen is a multifaceted American creative professional, exceling in various disciplines including journalism, comic book writing, screenwriting, and novel writing. In 2012, Jensen and artist Jonathan Case received an Eisner Award for their collaborative work on the 2011 graphic novel, Green River Killer: A True Detective Story, published by Dark Horse Comics.
Throughout his career, Jensen has been affiliated with Entertainment Weekly since 1998, occupying various positions, most notably serving as the publication's television critic. His creative contributions extended beyond journalism, as he co-conceived the narrative for The Walt Disney Company's film Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney and Hugh Laurie, in collaboration with producer Damon Lindelof and director Brad Bird. Jensen also played a crucial role as an executive producer on the movie, slated for release on May 22, 2015.
In addition to his work on Tomorrowland, Jensen co-authored his first prose novel, Before Tomorrowland, a prequel to the film, alongside artist Jonathan Case. The novel is scheduled for release on April 7, 2015. Born in Seattle, Washington, Jensen is a graduate of the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York City.
