Janek Joost, a renowned Estonian actor, was born on June 19, 1977, in the charming city of Pärnu.
Janek's educational journey began at Pärnu 2nd Secondary School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He later attended Pärnu Raeküla School, further honing his skills and knowledge.
In addition to his formal education, Janek also pursued his passion for the performing arts through evening school in Pärnu, now known as Pärnu Adult High School. During this time, he worked at Paikseraradio and honed his craft at the Aare Laanemetsa theater studio.
Janek's academic achievements are impressive, as he graduated from the Higher Performing Arts School of the Estonian Academy of Music in 2000. He continued his studies, defending his master's degree in 2007 with a thesis titled "The importance of the voice in creating a role".
Throughout his career, Janek has worked as an actor at various esteemed institutions. From 2000 to 2005, he was a part of the Vanemuise Theater, and later, he transitioned to a freelance actor, frequently performing at Tartu Uus Teater.
