Jane Therese Curtin, a renowned American actress and comedienne, was born on September 6, 1947. She is affectionately known as the "Queen of the Deadpan" due to her distinctive comedic style.
After initially gaining fame as a part of the original cast on Saturday Night Live in 1975, Curtin went on to win consecutive Emmy Awards for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her outstanding portrayal of Allison "Allie" Lowell in the popular 1980s sitcom Kate & Allie.
