J.R. (Joe) Hartigan's journey in the world of acting, theatre, and screenwriting began at Palm Beach State College, where he honed his craft through various productions. Notably, he was cast as Alley in Hands Across the Sea and as Ken DeLaMaize in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 at the school's esteemed Eissey Theatre. His impressive performance as Biff Baker in The 1940's Radio Hour at the Lake Worth Playhouse further solidified his reputation as a talented actor.

Professionally, Joe has taken on the role of Beverly Weston in August: Osage County, a testament to his ability to adapt to diverse characters.
