Biography

Next person biography:

Isabelle Champeau was born on April 19th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Marie-Anne and Jean-Pierre Champeau, and is the middle child of three sisters. Her natural charm and beauty led her to pursue a career in acting and modeling at the tender age of 17. Prior to her professional career, Isabelle was handpicked from a crowd of over 500 teenagers to rollerblade in a McDonald's commercial, marking the beginning of her acting career.

Isabelle's early success in commercials and television shows led to a talent scout selecting her for a three-month modeling stint in Japan and later in Spain. During her time in Japan, she spent a memorable week riding motorcycles for Kawasaki near Mount Fuji, further solidifying her adventurous spirit. This experience was just one of many that fueled her passion for various activities, including yoga, soccer, swimming, rock climbing, skating, snorkeling, and dancing.

As a young adult, Isabelle's life took a dramatic turn when her parents divorced, and a few years later, her estranged father developed cancer. She dedicated herself to nursing her ailing father, showcasing her compassion and dedication.

Despite the challenges she faced, Isabelle remained committed to her education, taking courses in scriptwriting at Quebec University and later completing her BA in Communications Studies at Concordia University in Montreal. Her interest in film led her to work as an assistant to her mentor, Father Marc Gervais, a film analysis teacher, author, and judge at the Cannes Film Festival.

Isabelle further honed her skills by attending The International Film and Video workshops in Rockport, Maine, USA, where she was offered an assistant teaching position just three weeks after her arrival. She then went on to study script analysis and acting with Judith Weston in Los Angeles.

In 2002, Isabelle acted and danced in "The Best of Billy Joel" music video, which appeared in Canada and the USA. She has since attended Warren Robertson theater workshops and has been involved in various aspects of the entertainment industry, including casting for children's television shows (Caillou for PBS) and writing, directing, and producing documentaries, corporate videos, short films, and a music video, "Red light".

In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Isabelle has also worked as an assistant and location manager for photographers, TV shows, and films. In early 2007, she wrote, produced, and starred in The Valley - a short film based on a true story, showcasing her versatility and talent as a writer, producer, and actress.
