Harry Frederick Gerard Hadden-Paton, born on April 10, 1981, is a renowned British actor. He gained widespread recognition for his roles in Downton Abbey and The Crown, where he portrayed Herbert Pelham, 7th Marquess of Hexham, and Martin Charteris respectively.
Hadden-Paton's most notable performance was as Henry Higgins in the Lincoln Center Theater revival of My Fair Lady on Broadway, earning him a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical. He also received a Grammy Award nomination for his outstanding work.
Born at Westminster Hospital in London, Hadden-Paton is the son of former cavalry officer Nigel Hadden-Paton and Sarah, daughter of Brigadier Frederick Mellor. He has three sisters, Polly, Clementine, and Alice, and is the godson of Sarah, Duchess of York.
Hadden-Paton married fellow actor Rebecca Night in 2010, and they have two daughters, Martha and Audrey. The couple co-starred in The King's Speech at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater in 2019.
Educated at Eton College and Durham University, Hadden-Paton trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). He established himself as a leading stage actor after leaving LAMDA in 2006.

In 2021, Hadden-Paton originated a leading role in the new musical Flying Over Sunset, directed by James Lapine, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, Lincoln Center, New York. The musical premiered on Broadway in November 2021 and had its official opening in December 2021.
