Guilherme Marcos Garcia Leme was born on September 29, 1961, in Lençóis Paulista, Brazil. He began his artistic journey by studying amateur theater at Colégio Objetivo in São Paulo and later at PUC-SP. Additionally, he took dance classes with renowned instructors Ivaldo Bertazzo, Maria Duchene, and Sônia Mota.
Guilherme further expanded his skills by attending courses in music, dance, mime, and theater in New York City. His early career was marked by his involvement in the founding of the Companhia de Teatro São Paulo Brasil and participation in various festivals across Brazil.
As a performer, Guilherme has not only taken to the stage but has also produced several shows, including Decadência, Eduardo II, and Felizes da Vida, among others. His extensive career has seen him participate in numerous telenovelas, such as Bambolê, Bebê a Bordo, Vamp, Perigosas Peruas, and De Corpo e Alma. He has also made a cameo appearance in the children's series Sítio do Picapau Amarelo.
Guilherme's filmography includes notable roles in movies like Benjamim, Erotique, and Anjos da Noite. The latter film earned him the award for best supporting actor at the Gramado Film Festival. In 2011, he made a cameo appearance in the telenovela Insensato Coração.
Currently, Guilherme is active in the theater world, directing plays and performing in monologues, including his portrayal of Meursault in a stage adaptation of Albert Camus's novel L'étranger.
Guilherme faced a health challenge in 2013 when he was diagnosed with throat cancer and underwent treatment at the A. C. Camargo hospital. After completing his treatment and being declared cancer-free, he gave an interview to Quem magazine in April 2014, sharing his experience with the disease.
After a five-year hiatus from television, Guilherme returned to the small screen in the Rede Record telenovela A Terra Prometida.
