Grethe Rüzt-Nissen, later known as Greta Nissen, was a Norwegian-born American dancer, stage, and screen actress who left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. Born in Norway, she would eventually make her Broadway debut as a talented ballerina in the year 1924, showcasing her impressive skills to a wider audience. Her exceptional talent did not go unnoticed, as she was soon discovered by the renowned film producer Jesse L. Lasky of Paramount Pictures.
