Born and raised on the Southwest side of Detroit, Michigan, by my loving mother, I spent my childhood days glued to the screen, watching movies and TV shows, with a secret aspiration to become a Hollywood movie star, just like my distant cousin, Richard Roundtree, aka "Shaft". Despite having no tangible reasons to believe it was possible, I suppressed this dream and focused on academics and sports to shape my future.
I owe my resilience, fearlessness, and determination to succeed in the face of adversity to my Detroit upbringing. The city instilled in me the strength and tenacity to overcome any obstacle. We then relocated to Fort Pierce, Florida, to be closer to my grandmother, marking the beginning of my high school years. This small coastal town offered a fresh perspective, allowing me to shift my focus from potential danger to bigger aspirations.
By the time I graduated, entrepreneurship had become my ultimate goal. I moved to Atlanta to pursue a degree in Electronics Engineering, which led to success in both corporate and non-profit sectors. This success opened doors to new opportunities, including the realization of my childhood dream of entrepreneurship.
Over the course of 20 years, I owned and operated multiple companies, traveling extensively, connecting with prominent clients, colleagues, and forming lasting friendships. In July 2016, I sold my marketing agency and decided to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a Hollywood movie star, just shy of my 50th birthday.
