Biography

Geoffrey, a native of Terrassa, Barcelona, was born to an Australian father and a Spanish mother. From a young age, he was fascinated by the world of film direction. He pursued his passion by graduating from the prestigious ESCAC in 2009, specializing in direction.

His graduation project, Cargols! (Snails!),was a romantic comedy that premiered at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival. The film's success was impressive, with over 100 national and international festival selections and more than 20 awards won.

Geoffrey's feature film debut, Tercer Grado (Day Release),was co-written, co-produced, and directed by him. The film, starring Jesus Lloveras, premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and was selected by over 20 festivals, earning more than 15 awards.

Since then, Geoffrey has been teaching direction at various universities while also shooting music videos for Spanish pop artists. His second feature film, Books & Drinks, is an indie rom-com shot in the Dominican Republic and New York, starring Jackson Rathbone and Clara Lago.

In 2023, Geoffrey was one of the three directors of the Netflix spin-off Berlin, based on the popular series Money Heist. The following year, he was part of the directing team for Carles Porta's true-crime docu-series Luz en la oscuridad (Light into the darkness) for Movistar Plus+.

Today, Geoffrey balances teaching with the development of his next feature film project.
