Francis Edward Turner, a talented English singer-songwriter, was born on December 28, 1981, in Meonstoke, Hampshire. He initially rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the post-hardcore band Million Dead, which disbanded in 2005. Following this, Turner embarked on a successful solo career, focusing primarily on acoustic music.
As a solo artist, Turner is often accompanied by his backing band, The Sleeping Souls, comprising Ben Lloyd on guitar and mandolin, Tarrant Anderson on bass, Matt Nasir on piano and mandolin, and Callum Green on drums. Together, they have performed in various settings, including live shows and studio recordings.
