Franklin Roy Bruno, MBE, a British former professional boxer, was born on November 16, 1961. He began his boxing career in 1982 and continued until 1996. Bruno's career was marked by both intense competition in the ring and dramatic events outside of it.
The peak of Bruno's boxing career was his victory over Oliver McCall to claim the WBC heavyweight title at Wembley Stadium in 1995. This was his fourth attempt at a world championship.
