Evelin Võigemast, a renowned Estonian stage, film, television, and voice actress, was born Evelin Pang on May 22, 1980, in Tallinn. She is the daughter of Valdur Pang and Eda Pang (née Taska) and has a brother named Margus Pang.
Evelin initially attended Tallinn School No. 21, but later transferred to Tallinn School No. 49, where she graduated in 1998. She also studied piano at the Tallinn Children's Music School, now known as the Tallinn Music School, in Kesklinn, Tallinn.
In 1998, Evelin began her acting studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, graduating in 2002 under the guidance of Elmo Nüganen. Her classmates included notable actors such as Priit Voigemast, Karin Rask, Maria Soomets, Hele Kõrve, Mart Toome, Ott Aardam, Elisabet Reinsalu, and Argo Aadli.
After graduating, Evelin joined the Tallinn City Theatre in 2002, where she remains a member to this day. She has performed in a wide range of roles, including works by Shakespeare, Alexandre Dumas, David Auburn, Anton Chekhov, Franz Kafka, Ivan Turgenev, W. B. Yeats, Anton Hansen Tammsaare, Tennessee Williams, Ernest Hemingway, Arnold Wesker, and Nikolai Gogol, among others.
Evelin has also appeared at the Vanalinnastuudio, NUKU Theatre, Nargen Opera, and Vanemuine in Tartu, where she played the role of Evita Peron in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Evita in 2014.
In addition to her stage work, Evelin has lent her voice to several animated characters, including Lotte in the popular Estonian Lotte films, which have become a cultural phenomenon in Estonia. She has also voiced Mittens in the Estonian release of the 2008 Disney animated film Bolt.
Evelin made her feature film debut in the 2002 film Nimed marmortahvlil, directed by Elmo Nüganen, and has since appeared in a number of films, including Stiilipidu, Hundi agoonia, Vasha, Deemonid, Supilinna Salaselts, Minu näoga onu, and Vee peal.
