Erika Prevost, a talented mixed race Japanese-Canadian actor, hails from Montreal, Canada, where she was raised and nurtured her passion for the spotlight from a young age. Initially, Erika found her creative outlet through movement, embarking on a successful dance career before being introduced to the world of acting. She made her television debut with a series regular role on Disney's hit teen dance drama, The Next Step, and continued to hone her craft at The National Theatre School of Canada, where she majored in acting in 2020.
Following her graduation, Erika relocated to Toronto, where she is currently based, and has since made a significant impact in the film and television industry. Her impressive credits include roles in Sony's Party Of Five, Amazon Prime's Colors of Love, Lionsgate's Step Up All In, Starz' American Gods, Lifetime's Saying Yes To Christmas, and Universal Picture's 7th installment of the beloved Bring It On franchise, among others. Erika's upcoming projects include a starring role in a Tubi original picture, set to be released in December 2022.
Beyond her acting pursuits, Erika has an extensive background in dance, with training in HipHop, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, and Ballroom. Her dance credits include work on NBC's The Voice, the Just For Laughs Gala, Cirque du Soleil's NBA All Star Games and Pan Am Games Opening Ceremony, and numerous other productions.
Throughout her career, Erika has had the opportunity to film across Canada, from the west coast in Vancouver to the east coast in Halifax, and shows no signs of slowing down. Embracing the ever-changing nature of the industry, Erika strives to continue sharing her love of storytelling with as many people as possible, while maintaining her commitment to honesty and relatability.
