Following this resounding success, Lizzie produced Dan Hodgson's critically acclaimed short film LOVE IS BLIND, which garnered widespread recognition and accolades, including a nomination for the prestigious Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as the Best British Short award at the BIFAS. The film's impressive global reach saw it tour numerous festivals worldwide, securing multi-territory distribution and racking up an astonishing 250,000+ views online, with the added distinction of being a Vimeo Staff Pick of the Year.
In collaboration with Emily, Lizzie has achieved a significant milestone by securing financial backing for Bird Flight Films from a private investor, a testament to her exceptional business acumen. Furthermore, Lizzie was awarded the esteemed BFI Vision Award in 2020, a prestigious honor that recognizes outstanding achievement in the film industry.
