Noted patriot and statesman, he embarked on a pivotal journey during the tumultuous years of the Civil War, spanning from 1918 to 1921. Following the conclusion of the conflict, he assumed the esteemed role of ambassador for the Ukrainian SSR in Poland, a position he held until 1924.
In 1923, he achieved a significant milestone, graduating from the esteemed screen department of the Higher Courses of Cinema in the Polish capital of Warsaw. Prior to this academic accomplishment, he had already made his mark on the world of theater, taking to the stage at the Kiev theater under the visionary direction of P.Saksaganskiy in 1917.
