Dilip Shankar is a renowned Casting Director, celebrated for his exceptional talent in introducing fresh faces, with an impressive portfolio that includes the iconic film Life of Pi directed by Ang Lee.

As a multifaceted artist, Dilip is also an accomplished actor and director, deeply rooted in the vibrant Delhi theatre scene.

With a remarkable range, he has portrayed a diverse array of roles, including Cassio in Roysten Abel's award-winning adaptation of William Shakespeare's Othello, a play presented in striking black and white. Additionally, he has brought to life the character of Raju Guide in Sanjoy Roy's captivating interpretation of R. K. Narayan's beloved novel Guide. Furthermore, Dilip has had the privilege of playing the role of Jawaharlal Nehru in Pramila Le Hunte's powerful and introspective production, Nehru-His Inner Story.
