Dick Rude, a multifaceted creative force, was born in 1964. His impressive career has been marked by his appearances and contributions to numerous films directed by Alex Cox. In addition to his work in front of the camera, Rude has also demonstrated his talents behind the lens, directing a pair of music videos for the iconic rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers: "Catholic School Girls Rule" and "Universally Speaking". He has also lent his expertise to the creation of the band's live concert DVD, Off the Map.
Rude's most recent film endeavor is Let's Rock Again!, a documentary that shines a spotlight on the life and legacy of the legendary musician Joe Strummer.
